Sing a song Safety on the road 【設計意圖:利用歡快的歌曲,將學生快速帶入課堂學習的氛圍】2.Play a game: guess the words according to the sentences T: It is black and white. People walk over it when they cross the road. It begins with the letter “z” . What is it? S: Zebra crossing .T: Sometimes you cannot find a zebra crossing near you .To keep safe ,you can wait on it. So what is it? S: Pavement.T: It is a light. When you see it , you mustnt cross the road. What is it?S: Red man.T: It is a light too. When you see it , you can cross the road. What is it?S: Green man.T: What are they about? S: They are about road safety.T: Today we will go on learning Unit 4 Road Safety.【設計意圖:利用猜字謎游戲復習有關馬路安全的相關知識,有效地激發學生學習英語的興趣,揭示課題Unit 4 Road safety】3. Non-stop talking T: How can we cross the road safely? S: We must/mustnt/ can/cantHow can we cross the road safely?Rules: 全班分兩組,30秒內連續說的最多的組獲勝,句子不得重復。一組說,另一組認真聽并數句子,注意有無重復。【設計意圖:利用Non-stop talking 形式復習檢測學生對本單元內容的掌握程度,準備階段人人參與,游戲階段很好的鍛煉了學生的聽說能力和團隊合作能力。】Step 2 Sound time T: You know a lot about road safety. So I am sure you can help Bobby and Tina. Whats wrong with them? Lets listen.(播放Bobby 和Tina的錄音:Look, Bobby and Tina, theres a telephone booth. How can we get there ? Theres no one on the road. Lets run.)T: Can they cross the road ? Are they right? What can you say to them, if you were the Policeman? S: Stop, theres a ______ _______.We _________ walk now.We must _____ for the _______ man.There he is . Now we can walk .But dont run .【設計意圖:創編教材,設計了一個前置情境:Bobby 和Tina亂穿馬路,從而邀請學生幫助他們倆,進而引入Sound time。】 T: You read well, but can you read better? Lets listen!T: Can you find the difference between your reading and theirs?S: T: Stress. The sress can help you read better , and it also helps you understand the sentences well. We often put the stress on the nouns , verbs , adjectives and adverbs. Now lets listen again and try to feel the stress. work in pairs to read the Sound time T: Now lets tell Bobby and Tina together what they should not do on the road?【設計意圖:利用主線貫穿,創設語音學用情境。初聽感受重音,二次聽模仿學習重音,小組合作練習重音,全班操練運用重音。】Step 3 Cartoon time Watch and answerT: With your help , they cross the road safely and get to the telephone booth. Who is Tina speaking to ? lets watch the cartoon.Q1: Who is Tina speaking to ?Q2: Where do they want to go ?Q3: How do they get there? Scan and judge T: They get there by bus.So how is the road ? Lets scan and judge.They are on a busy road. The elephants are going to the park.The bus stops three times. Read and find out Follow the rules on the road.Why does the bus stop two times?The first timeTheres the red man.Give way to pedestrains.The second timeSome elephants are crossing the road. They must stop and wait.
