What do we often do on this day?引導學生說出對不同節日的了解。Step 2 學生打開課本到第20頁，自主閱讀兩段短文，通過回答問題What festivals are they?初步了解文章大意。Step 3老師提問What do you know about Mid-Autumn Festival and Thanksgiving from the passage? 學生再次閱讀短文，找出相關信息回答問題，進一步理解短文內容。Step 4老師播放錄音，學生逐句跟讀，借助圖片，學習get together, moon cake, turkey等生詞和短語。Step 5學生采用不同形式朗讀短文，如全班讀、分組讀、分段讀等。 Step 6老師分別呈現中秋節和感恩節的圖片，引導學生描述，并選出幾人進行展示，老師給予指導和評價。Step 7老師示范描述其他節日，其余節日的名稱，全班開展游戲。錄音稿：Mid-Autumn FestivalThe 15th day of the Chinese lunar August is a very important festival in China.
