Learn new words: sing、fly、swim、 cook、draw、read (2). Children can talk about what can they do.(3). Children can chant and enjoy it. Main points:(1).Talk about what can they do.(2). Language:Can you sing?Yes, I can.No, I cant.(3).Vocabulary: can, cook、fly、draw、read、sing、swim. Teaching aids: word cards, pictures, ppt. Teaching procedures:Step 1: Greetings and Warm-up (1). Greetings.Step 2: Presentation.(1). Teach the new words by telling a story to lead in.A story: The duck and the bird. (Teacher shows the picture and tell the story: One day, there is a duck playing on the grass. He is lonely. He wants to find a friend to play with him. At that time, a bird is flying to the duck. And the duck says hello to the bird, “Good morning, Miss Bird.” The duck says. “Good morning, Mr. duck.” the bird answers. “Can we make friends?” and the duck asks again. The bird answers “er. I can sing. Can you sing? (present the new word “sing and the new sentence “Can you sing?”)Eg: Bird: I can sing. Can you sing?Duck: Yes, I can. Bird: Great! Lets sing. (Sing a happy duck song)(2). After singing a song, the bird says I can sing, you can sing, but I can fly,(teach the new word “fly”, and new sentence “Can you fly?” ), and the duck answers: Yes, I can. So they have a flying competition.(3) .Have a flying competition.(4).Teach the other words from the bird and the ducks dialogue:New words: sing、fly、swim、draw、cook 、read (Read the new word in different ways .)New sentences: I can swim. Play a Wood Man Game(Rules of the game: The teacher speaks a word; the students need to follow and read this word three times loudly, and study to do action together in the meantime. When the teacher says Stop!” The students can not move.b. Read a chant.c. Pair works. ( Four students in a group, everyone chooses one picture to talk in pair in order.)d.
