(幫助別人就是幫助自己). Dont look down upon the weak.(不要小瞧弱者)教學(xué)重難點:1. 能根據(jù)故事情節(jié),進行角色表演。2. 通過對于故事的理解,體會到故事寓意。教學(xué)過程:A Lead-in1. Make a greeting:T: Today well divide into two groups. Lets see which team can do better.2. T: I like drawing. And I can draw something with only one stroke. Look and guess: Look, what am I drawing? (在黑板上一筆畫出一只獅子和一只老鼠) 3. T: Yes, they are a lion and a mouse. What can you think about them? Lets have a brain storm.S: 學(xué)生描述,教師板書。4. T: The lion is large. What does it mean? Very big. Read after me. Large.T: Do you know strong? (指圖,動作幫助理解) Read after me. Strong.T: What does weak mean? (如果學(xué)生沒有說就跳過)設(shè)計意圖:利用簡筆畫,吸引學(xué)生的注意力,同時引出本課的任務(wù)獅子和老鼠,并對他們的形象進行一個描述,滲透新詞large,strong,weak。B. Pre-reading1. Guess: T: If a lion meets a mouse, what will happen? Discuss in pairs.S: Maybe設(shè)計意圖:讓學(xué)生根據(jù)已有的經(jīng)驗或者發(fā)揮自己的想象,談?wù)摢{子和老鼠相遇后會怎么樣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的表達能力和創(chuàng)新能力。2. 揭題T: Well read a story about a lion and a mouse. What happened in the story? Lets have a look.設(shè)計意圖:激發(fā)學(xué)生閱讀故事的動機。C. Read the story1. Reading for gist要求:快速瀏覽課文,用3-4句話簡要說說故事內(nèi)容。(給出提示詞:First, Then, Finally)S: First, the lion caught the mouse, but he let the mouse go. Then, the mouse helped the lion. Finally, they became friends. (同時板書:caught, let go, helped, became friends)設(shè)計意圖:通過快速閱讀課文,并用曾經(jīng)學(xué)過的句型概述課文內(nèi)容,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生獲取信息和概括能力。2. Read Picture1T: Lets read more about this story. (出圖1) There was a lion in the forest. He was very large and strong.T: So look at the animals, the monkey, the rabbit and the squirrel were all running. Why? S: Because the lion was coming.T: What would the animals say? S: (想象說一說)T: Now Im the lion. You are the animals. Lets act.T: (動作) Im the lion. Im large and strong. All the animals are afraid of me. Look! Here are some animals. I want to eat you.S: (站起來表演小動物,作逃跑狀) Dont eat me!T: All of the animals are afraid of me. How about the little mouse?設(shè)計意圖:故事的學(xué)習(xí)離不開圖片的輔助,圖文結(jié)合去理解故事,同時引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進行根據(jù)圖片的提示發(fā)揮想象,豐富故事的內(nèi)容,也為后面的表演做鋪墊。3. Read P2(聽第二段)T: When the mouse walked by, what was the lion doing? How do you know? S: Woke up. T: Explain in English or use body language.T: The lion caught the mouse, and he was very angry. What would he say?S: (自由想象,說一說)What are you doing, now? I was sleeping, you woke me up. (圖2) T: But look at this picture, was he angry? He was laughing. What were they talking about? ( 出示后面幾句對話)Who can read the dialogue? S: 請兩生嘗試讀對話。T: Look! The mouse was very afraid, so how did he say? Lets listen. (播放老鼠的話,學(xué)生聽并感受,出示said the mouse quietly) teach: quietly(小聲地), so can you read quietly? Lets try.T: How about the lion? Did he laugh quietly? No. Lets listen. (播放獅子的話,學(xué)生聽并感受,出示laughed the lion loudly). teach: loudly Can you read? S: 齊讀獅子的話。T: Can you read like them? Read in pairs.S: Read. (請幾組同學(xué)分角色再讀一讀) T: So then, the lion let the mouse go. Did he think the mouse could help him? But he was wrong.設(shè)計意圖:本部分故事的講解,主要通過想一想、讀一讀、演一演來進行,通過這些形式學(xué)習(xí)副詞及其意義。4. Read P3-5T: What happened then? Lets read P3-5, try to ask some questions about it in groups. You can use these words.(出示一些疑問代詞)要求: 讀第7頁,組內(nèi)試著根據(jù)故事內(nèi)容相互提問并回答。S: Read and discuss in groups.T: Just now, you asked some questions. Now, lets play Tic-tac-toe. Group A asks, and Group B answers, if you can answer correctly, you can mark the space. (課前和學(xué)生做一做這個游戲,課上不再講規(guī)則,直接出示棋盤。) If you win the games, you can get 3 points.T: So which group answers first? Rock paper scissors, go!S: 游戲。T: Lets listen and repeat.(在跟讀的過程中,教授net,bit,sadly,happily) 設(shè)計意圖:學(xué)生不僅要能能回答問題,更要培養(yǎng)他們提問的能力,尤其是能根據(jù)文章內(nèi)容用適當?shù)囊蓡栐~來提問。所以本部分的教學(xué)我設(shè)計了一個游戲活動,激勵讓學(xué)生在游戲中相互提問并回答。這是一個開放的環(huán)節(jié),但同時也要基于對文本的理解,同時鍛煉學(xué)生的小組合作,傾聽理解以及表達能力。5. T: I think you know a lot about the story. Now, lets read and order. (P8練習(xí)一)S: Read, order then check.6. T: Here are some questions, try to think about them.Q1: If the lion eats the mouse, what will happen?Q2: Will the lion laugh at the other weak animals?S: Discuss in pairs.7. (學(xué)生回答后一一出示) Helping others is helping ourselves. (幫助別人就是幫助自己). Dont look down upon the weak.(不要小瞧弱者) 設(shè)計意圖:伊索寓言都有蘊含的道理,通過兩個問題引出兩個道理,給學(xué)生情感上的正確引導(dǎo)。D. Show time1. T: Do you like the story? Lets try to act it out. You can add some dialogues according to the story.角色分配: lion, mouse, the other animal, Narrator1. 按課文表演故事。2. 可根據(jù)人物的心理,適當增加對話。3. 結(jié)合動作和語氣表現(xiàn)人物的情緒。設(shè)計意圖:故事表演是學(xué)生喜聞樂見的環(huán)節(jié)。經(jīng)過之前的滲透,對于故事中人物的動作、語言、心理的理解,表演起來更加輕松。Homework:1. Listen and read the story.2. Complete Reading Notes of this story.3. Try to make a short play according the story and write it down.板書
