義務教育教科書 英語English(三年級起點 六年級下冊)Unit 4 Road safetyGrammar time &Fun time(教學設計)Teaching contents:本節課為江蘇譯林英語教材6B Unit4 Road safety第二課時Grammar time &Fun time板塊教學。其中Grammar time歸納了情態動詞must及其否定形式mustnt的用法,并再次呈現含有can和cant的句子;Fun time板塊是一個關于安全行路的知識問答游戲,要求學生小組活動,一人充當小交警,進行提問,其他學生用must和mustnt表達在馬路上行走時要注意的事項,即必須做的事情和不能做的事情。Analysis of the students:授課對象為小學六年級學生,他們通過六年的英語學習,已經具備了一定的口語表達能力和閱讀能力,同時具備初步的語法辨別和歸納能力。由于從一年級就開始接觸英語,大部分學生具備了一般的語言輸出技能,包括情境創設下他們重組輸出語言的能力。到了高年級之后,特別是新改版的教材加入了語法板塊,對于語法方面顯得不是很嫻熟學生,傳統的“講解+練習”模式無法將這些學生語法的學習興趣和語法知識內化為語言的運用,這需要老師能夠創造機會,讓學生體驗學習語言和互相交流的快樂,激發學生的參與熱情,從而促進其語言運用能力的提高。Teaching aims and learning objectives:1.能對Story time進行自主復習,并認識更多交通標志,掌握安全知識,做遵守交通規則的社會公民。2.能理解并運用情態動詞must及其否定must not(mustnt) 的用法,復習已學過的情態動詞canshould及否定用法。3.能使用更多關于規則和規定的表達法,如Please Dont Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty:1.認識更多交通標志,掌握安全知識,做遵守交通規則的社會公民。2.能理解并運用情態動詞must及其否定must not(mustnt) 的用法,復習已學過的情態動詞canshould及否定用法。3.情感態度和價值觀目標在比較、歸納、游戲、小組合作中體會語法學習的快樂,并在此過程中培養其語言表達能力。在最后歸納提升時突出rules的強大。Teaching aidsPPT演示文稿、關于rules視頻剪輯、單詞卡片。Teaching procedures:Step1:Review and lead in復習Story time,激發學生的儲備知識。(學生根據已學的story及圖片作答。)T: What do you know from Story time?S1:I know how can we cross the road safely?S2: I know what must we not do on the road?T:Now lets focus on the first question:How can we cross the road safely?(板書)S:(略)教師板書We must/can/cannotT: Next:What must you not do on the road?S: (略) 教師板書 We mustntT: Now lets read the key sentences together.設計意圖老師就道路安全知識的話題引發學生表達,學生調動了自己的知識儲備,通過自己思考并組織語言與教師交流。本環節是對 新手內容的預熱。Step2:Grammar time1.在復習Story time基礎上總結道路安全規則,每句中含有情態動詞must和can以及其否定形式。T:What are these key sentences about?S: Traffic rules.2. 展示Grammar time更多含有must和can以及其否定形式的句子,自主發現語法規則。T: When we talk about traffic rules,what words do we often use?S: can/cannot,must/mustntT:Good!Boys and girls, please pay attention to these blue parts, we call them Modal Verbs in English.What do we use after Modal Verbs?T:Yes,we use the original forms of the Verbs.Now lets read together and try to feel the differences between “must”and“can”.T:What are the differences between “must”and“can”? What do you think?T:Great! “must”is stronger than“can”. “mustnt”also means “order sb not to do sth”.設計意圖采取小組讀、男生讀、女生讀和整體讀的方式讓全班學生整體過一遍這些句子,讓學生自己發現這些句子中都含有一個共同的特征就是都含有情態動詞must和can及其否定形式,并在老師的引導下進一步感知了“must”and“can”的區別,為后續的意義操練做好了鋪墊。3.小組合作Looking For A Home,嘗試區分must和can的含義和用法。T:Look, Must and Can both have their home, and their children(含有must和can的詞條) are in my hand. Now lets work in groups, help them to find their own home.設計意圖找房子活動是通過小組討論,將手中的詞條放進不同的房子。設計的目的就是讓學生能夠自發進行思考這兩個情態動詞的含義和用法, 通過討論及貼詞條的方式一是增強小組合作意識,二是增加活動的趣味性,避免了枯燥講解方式,增加了學習的趣味性,且此活動容易做到,能夠讓學生獲得成功體驗。4.進一步引導學生結合語境,鞏固Grammar time語法知識。T:Good job. I see you can distinguish“must”and“can”very well.This time,lets try to choose suitable Modal verbs to describe more traffic rules.You can discuss in four first.設計意圖講解語法知識時,采用“集中呈現對比分析鞏固運用”的語法學習模式,即集中出現相關的語法知識,通過對比和歸納,引導學生梳理語法規則,并加以鞏固和運用,達到強化目的。Step4:Fun time1.本板塊教學我在教參要求的基礎上稍微進行了整合,即將此環節改編成更易于操作,也更生動活潑的“Pass the flower”游戲。此游戲規則為:拿到花的同學,根據出示的場景,回答同學們問題,若不會可以尋求他人幫助。游戲轉換了四個場景library,corridor,bookshop,museumT:Well done! You can use Modal verbs reasonably.Now lets pay a game about them. Firstly,open your books and turn to Fun time.Lets read it together.Is it interesting?T: Let me make it more interesting.Lets play another game,that is “pass the flower”. When the music stops, the student who gets the flower should answer the questions according to the language situation. Dont worry,if you cant do it,you can ask your classmates to help you.設計意圖此游戲的創編,是師生將“書本上的游戲”化為“我們的游戲”,不僅僅是引導學生將情態動詞再一次在新的語境下使用,而且在“Fun”的氛圍下學生進行了“Learning by doing”,避免的機械無味的操練,激發學生參與的熱情,鼓勵學生自發的運用語言,學而不累,以達到其教學目的, 同時也為后續的語言操練活動做好了鋪墊。2.通過Pair work,選擇不同場景中不同的rules進行must和can 及其否定形式的操練。為使操練的有效,將不同場景編上不同的數字,首先讓學生選擇一個數字,老師再給予一個數字,通過現場即興編對話。T: Do you like this game? Lets do more practice. Look , where are we now?S: Oh, we are in/ at T: What must we/ can we do?S: We must/canT:What must we not/can we not do?S: We must not/cannot(Then do it in pairs)設計意圖首先Pair work可以活躍課堂氣氛,能夠鼓勵學生相互合作,充分發揮學生的主觀能動性,培養學生創造性的運用能力。在不同情境中進行情態動詞的語法操練,能夠讓學生親身體驗,理解不同情境中情態動詞的不同用法,能夠激發起學生的表達欲望,考察他們的掌握情況,鍛煉他們運用語言的能力。Step5:Consolidation.1. 讓學生觀看一段視頻,此視頻有五個場景,每個場景中都存在人們不遵守規則現象。T:Lets watch a video and tell me“Do the people follow the rules?”2. 通過人們的不遵守規則,引導學生為他們制定規則,并向他們發出倡議遵守我們身邊的規則,大家才能快樂生活。T: Lets make rules for eating together.First,Discuss in groups.Then,write the sentences with modal verbs(情態動詞),the more the better(越多越好)。3.
