義務(wù)教育教科書(shū) 英語(yǔ)English(三年級(jí)起點(diǎn) 六年級(jí)下冊(cè))Unit 4 Road safetyGrammar time &Fun time(教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì))Teaching contents:本節(jié)課為江蘇譯林英語(yǔ)教材6B Unit4 Road safety第二課時(shí)Grammar time &Fun time板塊教學(xué)。其中Grammar time歸納了情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must及其否定形式mustnt的用法,并再次呈現(xiàn)含有can和cant的句子;Fun time板塊是一個(gè)關(guān)于安全行路的知識(shí)問(wèn)答游戲,要求學(xué)生小組活動(dòng),一人充當(dāng)小交警,進(jìn)行提問(wèn),其他學(xué)生用must和mustnt表達(dá)在馬路上行走時(shí)要注意的事項(xiàng),即必須做的事情和不能做的事情。Analysis of the students:授課對(duì)象為小學(xué)六年級(jí)學(xué)生,他們通過(guò)六年的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí),已經(jīng)具備了一定的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力和閱讀能力,同時(shí)具備初步的語(yǔ)法辨別和歸納能力。由于從一年級(jí)就開(kāi)始接觸英語(yǔ),大部分學(xué)生具備了一般的語(yǔ)言輸出技能,包括情境創(chuàng)設(shè)下他們重組輸出語(yǔ)言的能力。到了高年級(jí)之后,特別是新改版的教材加入了語(yǔ)法板塊,對(duì)于語(yǔ)法方面顯得不是很嫻熟學(xué)生,傳統(tǒng)的“講解+練習(xí)”模式無(wú)法將這些學(xué)生語(yǔ)法的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和語(yǔ)法知識(shí)內(nèi)化為語(yǔ)言的運(yùn)用,這需要老師能夠創(chuàng)造機(jī)會(huì),讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言和互相交流的快樂(lè),激發(fā)學(xué)生的參與熱情,從而促進(jìn)其語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力的提高。Teaching aims and learning objectives:1.能對(duì)Story time進(jìn)行自主復(fù)習(xí),并認(rèn)識(shí)更多交通標(biāo)志,掌握安全知識(shí),做遵守交通規(guī)則的社會(huì)公民。2.能理解并運(yùn)用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must及其否定must not(mustnt) 的用法,復(fù)習(xí)已學(xué)過(guò)的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞canshould及否定用法。3.能使用更多關(guān)于規(guī)則和規(guī)定的表達(dá)法,如Please Dont Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty:1.認(rèn)識(shí)更多交通標(biāo)志,掌握安全知識(shí),做遵守交通規(guī)則的社會(huì)公民。2.能理解并運(yùn)用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must及其否定must not(mustnt) 的用法,復(fù)習(xí)已學(xué)過(guò)的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞canshould及否定用法。3.情感態(tài)度和價(jià)值觀目標(biāo)在比較、歸納、游戲、小組合作中體會(huì)語(yǔ)法學(xué)習(xí)的快樂(lè),并在此過(guò)程中培養(yǎng)其語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力。在最后歸納提升時(shí)突出rules的強(qiáng)大。Teaching aidsPPT演示文稿、關(guān)于rules視頻剪輯、單詞卡片。Teaching procedures:Step1:Review and lead in復(fù)習(xí)Story time,激發(fā)學(xué)生的儲(chǔ)備知識(shí)。(學(xué)生根據(jù)已學(xué)的story及圖片作答。)T: What do you know from Story time?S1:I know how can we cross the road safely?S2: I know what must we not do on the road?T:Now lets focus on the first question:How can we cross the road safely?(板書(shū))S:(略)教師板書(shū)We must/can/cannotT: Next:What must you not do on the road?S: (略) 教師板書(shū) We mustntT: Now lets read the key sentences together.設(shè)計(jì)意圖老師就道路安全知識(shí)的話題引發(fā)學(xué)生表達(dá),學(xué)生調(diào)動(dòng)了自己的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備,通過(guò)自己思考并組織語(yǔ)言與教師交流。本環(huán)節(jié)是對(duì) 新手內(nèi)容的預(yù)熱。Step2:Grammar time1.在復(fù)習(xí)Story time基礎(chǔ)上總結(jié)道路安全規(guī)則,每句中含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must和can以及其否定形式。T:What are these key sentences about?S: Traffic rules.2. 展示Grammar time更多含有must和can以及其否定形式的句子,自主發(fā)現(xiàn)語(yǔ)法規(guī)則。T: When we talk about traffic rules,what words do we often use?S: can/cannot,must/mustntT:Good!Boys and girls, please pay attention to these blue parts, we call them Modal Verbs in English.What do we use after Modal Verbs?T:Yes,we use the original forms of the Verbs.Now lets read together and try to feel the differences between “must”and“can”.T:What are the differences between “must”and“can”? What do you think?T:Great! “must”is stronger than“can”. “mustnt”also means “order sb not to do sth”.設(shè)計(jì)意圖采取小組讀、男生讀、女生讀和整體讀的方式讓全班學(xué)生整體過(guò)一遍這些句子,讓學(xué)生自己發(fā)現(xiàn)這些句子中都含有一個(gè)共同的特征就是都含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must和can及其否定形式,并在老師的引導(dǎo)下進(jìn)一步感知了“must”and“can”的區(qū)別,為后續(xù)的意義操練做好了鋪墊。3.小組合作Looking For A Home,嘗試區(qū)分must和can的含義和用法。T:Look, Must and Can both have their home, and their children(含有must和can的詞條) are in my hand. Now lets work in groups, help them to find their own home.設(shè)計(jì)意圖找房子活動(dòng)是通過(guò)小組討論,將手中的詞條放進(jìn)不同的房子。設(shè)計(jì)的目的就是讓學(xué)生能夠自發(fā)進(jìn)行思考這兩個(gè)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的含義和用法, 通過(guò)討論及貼詞條的方式一是增強(qiáng)小組合作意識(shí),二是增加活動(dòng)的趣味性,避免了枯燥講解方式,增加了學(xué)習(xí)的趣味性,且此活動(dòng)容易做到,能夠讓學(xué)生獲得成功體驗(yàn)。4.進(jìn)一步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生結(jié)合語(yǔ)境,鞏固Grammar time語(yǔ)法知識(shí)。T:Good job. I see you can distinguish“must”and“can”very well.This time,lets try to choose suitable Modal verbs to describe more traffic rules.You can discuss in four first.設(shè)計(jì)意圖講解語(yǔ)法知識(shí)時(shí),采用“集中呈現(xiàn)對(duì)比分析鞏固運(yùn)用”的語(yǔ)法學(xué)習(xí)模式,即集中出現(xiàn)相關(guān)的語(yǔ)法知識(shí),通過(guò)對(duì)比和歸納,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生梳理語(yǔ)法規(guī)則,并加以鞏固和運(yùn)用,達(dá)到強(qiáng)化目的。Step4:Fun time1.本板塊教學(xué)我在教參要求的基礎(chǔ)上稍微進(jìn)行了整合,即將此環(huán)節(jié)改編成更易于操作,也更生動(dòng)活潑的“Pass the flower”游戲。此游戲規(guī)則為:拿到花的同學(xué),根據(jù)出示的場(chǎng)景,回答同學(xué)們問(wèn)題,若不會(huì)可以尋求他人幫助。游戲轉(zhuǎn)換了四個(gè)場(chǎng)景l(fā)ibrary,corridor,bookshop,museumT:Well done! You can use Modal verbs reasonably.Now lets pay a game about them. Firstly,open your books and turn to Fun time.Lets read it together.Is it interesting?T: Let me make it more interesting.Lets play another game,that is “pass the flower”. When the music stops, the student who gets the flower should answer the questions according to the language situation. Dont worry,if you cant do it,you can ask your classmates to help you.設(shè)計(jì)意圖此游戲的創(chuàng)編,是師生將“書(shū)本上的游戲”化為“我們的游戲”,不僅僅是引導(dǎo)學(xué)生將情態(tài)動(dòng)詞再一次在新的語(yǔ)境下使用,而且在“Fun”的氛圍下學(xué)生進(jìn)行了“Learning by doing”,避免的機(jī)械無(wú)味的操練,激發(fā)學(xué)生參與的熱情,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生自發(fā)的運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言,學(xué)而不累,以達(dá)到其教學(xué)目的, 同時(shí)也為后續(xù)的語(yǔ)言操練活動(dòng)做好了鋪墊。2.通過(guò)Pair work,選擇不同場(chǎng)景中不同的rules進(jìn)行must和can 及其否定形式的操練。為使操練的有效,將不同場(chǎng)景編上不同的數(shù)字,首先讓學(xué)生選擇一個(gè)數(shù)字,老師再給予一個(gè)數(shù)字,通過(guò)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)即興編對(duì)話。T: Do you like this game? Lets do more practice. Look , where are we now?S: Oh, we are in/ at T: What must we/ can we do?S: We must/canT:What must we not/can we not do?S: We must not/cannot(Then do it in pairs)設(shè)計(jì)意圖首先Pair work可以活躍課堂氣氛,能夠鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生相互合作,充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主觀能動(dòng)性,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生創(chuàng)造性的運(yùn)用能力。在不同情境中進(jìn)行情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的語(yǔ)法操練,能夠讓學(xué)生親身體驗(yàn),理解不同情境中情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的不同用法,能夠激發(fā)起學(xué)生的表達(dá)欲望,考察他們的掌握情況,鍛煉他們運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力。Step5:Consolidation.1. 讓學(xué)生觀看一段視頻,此視頻有五個(gè)場(chǎng)景,每個(gè)場(chǎng)景中都存在人們不遵守規(guī)則現(xiàn)象。T:Lets watch a video and tell me“Do the people follow the rules?”2. 通過(guò)人們的不遵守規(guī)則,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生為他們制定規(guī)則,并向他們發(fā)出倡議遵守我們身邊的規(guī)則,大家才能快樂(lè)生活。T: Lets make rules for eating together.First,Discuss in groups.Then,write the sentences with modal verbs(情態(tài)動(dòng)詞),the more the better(越多越好)。3.
