Where? What? Who?對派對進行提問。教師呈現端午派對信息卡，解讀信息卡中的time, place, people, activities,出現板書，這些都是寫作中必備的內容。同學再通過信息卡問答，所有的回答形成一篇文章。這是一篇簡單的文本，復習一般將來時的結構，初步了解一篇文本應具備的要素，使學生做到心中有數。3.T: Is Mike going to the party? Lets read.【設計意圖】教師通過對比兩篇文章，得出寫作要簡潔扼要，需避免重復，優化句式。學生通過練習將兩句話合為一句話，體會連詞的重要性。重點講解and，to，but的用法，同時補充first, next, then, finally, also, too, either,because.供同學使用。5. 發揮想象，豐富細節T: Jenny is going to make a .cake.Jenny is going to make a .cake. She is going to be.【設計意圖】再通過對比兩篇文章，得出形容詞的重要性，需發揮想象，豐富細節。學生通過練習將一句話不斷用形容詞進行擴充，體會形容詞的重要性。同時提供常用形容詞happy, big, tired, wonderful.等供學生使用。6. 結構清晰，篇章完整。T: Each passage should have a beginning, a body, a ending and a title.
